Bearings on indoor or outdoor fan motor (RM 250-450), loose mounting bracket, fan blade obstruction, or compressor end-of-life (the worst case — replacement decision territory).

Almost always a blocked condensate drain (RM 80-120 to clear) — algae, dust, or kinked pipe. Less often: drain pan crack, ice forming on the coil (refrigerant issue), or improper installation slope.
